Peter Ford was appointed our deputy squire, a rank bestowed on him by Squire Neville in 1997.
Peter farms Park Farm and used to host our weekly practices.
He is a founder member of the side.
He threw his home open to our social events, like the Burns Night supper, our AGM and, of course, our May Day revelry still sparks off in the dark-before-dawn looking towards Stanstead.
