Fitting Out Takes Place - All Is Ready

After the successful river trials, and as the days began to shorten towards Autumn, activity around The Angel steadily increased to prepare the Little Egypt barge for the great day.

Fitting out included the raising of the Flag

(based loosely on the sacred badge of the Morris Men of Little Egypt,)and well as bunting and extra seating for The Maiden - an essential character in this ritualistic event. Fitting Out
