Little Egypt's "All Bunting and Frolics" Tour of Dorset

and a few pubs

Blagging at its finest.

A train was waiting, but going in the wrong direction. This didn't stop Mr Bangs from claiming a free ride, and when the train returned, there he was waving at us from the cab. Blagging at its finest.

The evening saw the Grand Dinner at the Ocean Bay restaurant which was right on the beach with palm trees waving in the glow of the sunset. The Squire read the entries for the poetry competition, finally declaring no winner after disqualifying them all on a technicality or two. An excellent evening for those who could remember it.

Our final day was at the Wimborne Festival, in Wimborne. Another gloriously sunny day in a packed town square with something like seventy sides taking part. There was a marvellous atmosphere about the place and as well as dancing there were stalls selling everything from jewellery to hot dogs and of course plenty of pubs. Our first port of call was the Albion Arms but a particularly grumpy and rude landlord put us off returning to his bar.

Overall then, another triumph for Little Egypt On Tour and a really fantastic weekend of "Bunting and Frolics". We must do it again sometime ...
