Little Egypt at Bardwell: 14 May 2006

The Dun Cow

The lull before the storm

Getting into the swing of things

The warm up dances went with their usual Vim and Gusto, but were very much preparatory for the afternoon ahead.

With grace and precision
Look at my lines!

With the utter professionalism everyone has come to expect of Little Egypt, everything was done to ensure we paced ourselves.
Not too fast now lads!

It's that sort of day.
An understated musical accompaniment

The musicians worked themselves towards concert pitch...

...and...

... the dancers were careful to preserve the pristine nature of the Season's New Kit.

Freshly starched and ironed.
The season's first flower

Except, of course, for Nunu, who chose to adapt his headgear for Low Bridges.
Very Low Bridges.

And Alan and Dan, who had their own interpretation of the Squire's Edict, noticed very early on by Greg.

Wow!

I feel this quite spectacular innovation deserves a closer look, but, whatever you do, don't tell The Squire.
Stunning!

Perhaps, after that shock, you'd better move on to the Windmill
