Little Egypt in Ireland: 2005

Sunday: the wind-down, but no anti-climax

You can pause the slides by hovering the mouse over a picture, but don't click!

Don't ask me why - I haven't mastered Java.

All good things come to an end, so they say, but even the realities of a return to the hustle and bustle of rural Suffolk could not get in the way of a final day of fun.
Tommy the Coach began by guiding the side through the famous Moll's Gap.
No-one dared ask who (or where) Moll was.
Except Cleverdon, who obviously spotted her immediately.
There were then three choices for the rest of the day:
1) Guinness
2) Guinness
or
3) Lager
(and look where that gets you).

And finally: a few shots that escaped the censor.

I dreamt I had a bigger box!

In your dreams, Martin.

I know it's there somewhere

In my dreams, Martin

A bridge even Tommy wouldn't try

Even Tommy wouldn't try this one.

Kenmare at its best

The centre of Kenmare

Summon up the spirits again

Is this where she came from?

We were privileged, incidentally, to be treated to a tour of the History of Kenmare, on Saturday afternoon. It is a site of much interest, with a past stretching back to neolithic stone circles.
