Little Egypt in Ireland: 2005

Dancing at Foley's Bar

Foley's was always going to be a challenging venue, simply because the road is narrow, and there are a lot of parked cars.
Nevertheless, we managed.
What we hadn't allowed for, however, was the possibility of a new volunteer recruit joining us for the session.

And yes, she did try to use that sickle instead of a stick, for dancing, and she did try to harvest the road surface, and George performed sterling service in persuading her to stop lying down in front of the traffic ...

When we moved on to the Market, something like normality was restored.
Quick learners
Very fast
So much so, that we could invite other audience members to join us.

After all the excitement, a relaxing afternoon and dinner awaited.
