Little Egypt in Ireland: 2005

Well: after a night like that, it was probably wise that we decided to treat our host town, Kenmare, to the delights of Little Egypt.

In full Cotswold Gear, we danced three spots: outside the Lansdowne Hotel, where the Alickadoos had made their base; outside Foley's Bar, where the non-commissioned oiks were based, and near the Tourist Information Office on the Market Square.

In typical Little Egypt fashion, the dancing was far from straightforward!

At the Lansdowne

The dancing at the Lansdowne was uneventful, in that we put on a very good performance, enjoyed ourselves, attracted passsing trade from locals and tourists alike, and even the occasional very odd looking photographer.
Is there a flash bulb fitted?
Little did we know what was waiting round the corner, quite literally, at Foley's. ...
